The early version will be some time before I get to doing it. The tooling for this is VERY expensive, and as you can tell I'm not gouging the price to make a quick buck. The tooling is spread out over 200 units to make this work. Yes I will roll it back in to making more stuff, but honestly it would change the price significantly to make them knowing that I would only be able to sell 1/5 the volume. I may go there, but for now
I'll make parts that the majority can use when the set up is this high. |

Mark, I am in for one for my 76. What sort of shipping charge should we expect? And as always, thanks for offering this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) These will get a custom heavy wall box for about $8 and the shipping cross country should be about $35. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Dagnabbit, not planning to keep the 'BB' ('75) for a long period of time, but we'll definitely be keeping our '71.
Guess I'll just have to wait-n-see iffin you decide to make the 'early' ones (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

I'm in for one!
This is a big day for the 914 worldwide. New dash cover for 310$ WOW. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) And here is a thread on early vs late. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...;hl=early++late http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...=214122&hl= So you can use a late dashpad on an early car but the glovebox door won't open. Early slot for glovebox= 34cm Late slot for glovebox= 32cm |

I sat a late dash pad on an early knee bolster and the ends didn't line up well. They weren't mounted on a car so it wasn't an exacting test. Slits also stated that the ashtray location is different on an early car. So it seems like an entire new mould would be needed if you really want to make an early pad fit right. My cars have I cracked dash pads but I plan to drive them for many years to come so it's one of those spares that I would really like to have.

I am in too. Please let us know how to pre-order and send funds. Thanks! Danny Thomas The game plan is that we will have our 1st prototype ready after WCR. I know, I wanted to be able to bring it, but it didn't work out. When I know we have the details worked out and we're are gearing up from production we will start taking the orders. 7-10 days later when these start shipping we will bump the price up to the second tier. Making it desirable to get in early as you will get 1st and your price is less. But for those that don't have the cash then, they will still have a month to get the second tier before the offer expires. |

Add me to the list for the late dashes.
I would also be interested in an early dash. |
