Hook up with Worn and meet us south on I35. If the stars align I want to leave like Tuesday after work and get at least to southern MN. We usually get a room the first night and leave at the crack of 8 ish... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Then drive as far as we can til around 8-9 pm. Grab a room where we can and we will be in Flag Staff for Thursday with no effort. If I am by myself I usually put on over 1k miles a day. I'm not sure how I will do this year.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) It sitting in the car that's the worse.

Thanks Mark. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) We really are *official* now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif)

BTW - Two of the local recommended lunch options for Saturday include G Burger in Cornville (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burger.gif) and Haunted Hamburger in Jerome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burger.gif)

I've been to the Hauntedhamburger in Jerome. Cool story behind some of the items hanging in the restaurant.. if you like ghost stories that is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You have exactly 91.4 days, from sunrise Thursday, to complete your projects and get your (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) to Flagstaff for the *official* start of the 12th annual Route 66 Classic.

I just booked my rooms.

1200 miles will let me better tune my mps for the 2056. Mileage vs heat. rich vs lean. So we have a contingent from the wine country of the midwest. I moved here from El Cerrito Mark. How's the snowblower working?

Not sure how many hours a day my back will go. But I drove here from Seattle last summer. In a car with all of the amenities.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
I may leave as early as Monday and keep in touch so I can watch for an Alien blur in the rearview.

Woo Hoo! I hope to be in the middle of a Southwest Exploration Tour in my Syncro Westy during this time, so as long as a Vanagon camper with a Subie EG33 isn't too much of a drag.....I'm in. Rooms booked.

I've followed threads of this event for many years, now I get to see if the myths are true.

That's 2 Suby's with a possibility of 2 others. We (H20) might be the majority this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Sorry John, and guys and gals..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) ...next time.

Can't make this one. Way to much gowin on at home that I need to finish that month.

I'll see some of you at the Phoenix Club meet. I can make that one.

That drive in AZ will be really nice.

Maybe it is just me but... some of the best times are hanging out in the motel parking lot. Good people and good stories. Sometimes your car will even get worked on by the 914 Brain Trust (hopefully earlier in the evening rather than later)!
