Please make your room reservations quickly. busted_cop.gif Both hotels expect to be Sold Out.

MapQuest says the Grand Canyon drive is 3 1/2 hours. I expect it to take longer.
It is 100 miles up and 80 miles back on the planned loop.
There are 8 restaurants in the Village area to pick from for lunch.

The Saturday drive is much shorter. A little over 2 hours of seat time. Only 100 miles or so.
Sedona will be our first pit stop / photo opp.
There is also the art studio in Cottonwood.
The road in and out of Jerome is fantastic. MDB2.gif
There are numerous lunch options in Cornville, Cottonwood and Jerome.

As is the custom smilie_flagge24.gif starting time both days is 9:14 am.

If I'm in AZ that week I'd try and make at least one day.
From experience, the drive from Flagstaff to Prescott is priceless, especially 89A in Oak Creek Canyon. You won't be disappointed!!
Roads around Jerome also amazing... good choices!!

Welcome jat. welcome.png We are glad you will be joining us.

In my experience on these drives, the cars have sorted themselves into 2 classes:

A.) Over 2.0 liters. those that can pass going up hill. bootyshake.gif

B.) Under 2.0 liters. those that will pass going down hill. w00t.gif

1200 miles will let me better tune my mps for the 2056. Mileage vs heat. rich vs lean. So we have a contingent from the wine country of the midwest. I moved here from El Cerrito Mark. How's the snowblower working?
