Anyone from San Diego area headed to this? I might be in for it, but would like to have someone else along in case of breakdowns, etc.

Highlighted the thread though.

Thanks Mark. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) We really are *official* now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif)

BTW - Two of the local recommended lunch options for Saturday include G Burger in Cornville (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burger.gif) and Haunted Hamburger in Jerome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burger.gif)

Re the Canyon. How old do you have to be to get a Golden Buzzard senior citizen park pass? My parents got me into a lot of parks with those. My turn now. The Grand Canyon is sort of like the moon landings - they are both impossible so they must have been invented by the government. Of course last time I went in late spring it snowed.

Access Pass (Free for lifetime with documentation of permanent disability, U.S. citizens and permanent residents)
Volunteer Pass (earned with 250+ hours of volunteer service in public lands)
Hangtags (used as way to display passes at areas without entrance booth staff)
Annual Decals (for open-top vehicles to display at areas without entrance booth staff).

Sorry John, and guys and gals..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) ...next time.

Can't make this one. Way to much gowin on at home that I need to finish that month.

I'll see some of you at the Phoenix Club meet. I can make that one.

That drive in AZ will be really nice.

Rob

I think that this is an excellent opportunity to lie. That's right, come up with some outlandish excuse for not being able to get to those chores and the rest of us will all swear to it. What could possibly go wrong. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Hell yes. You will have to ride at the rear and make necessary parts runs for those with less reliable cars. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Maybe it is just me but... some of the best times are hanging out in the motel parking lot. Good people and good stories. Sometimes your car will even get worked on by the 914 Brain Trust (hopefully earlier in the evening rather than later)! True that!

My wife and I will leave Thurs. AM. I'd like to leave at 0600 but in reality it will probably be closer to 1000hr's.
Ron just got back with me and his room is booked. With this new mosquito borne virus looming, I'll be riding behind Ron and his smogging machine as a precaution, whenever possible. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Parking in Jerome is a PITA on the weekends, just so u know. But going from Jerome to Prescott down 89a is a real good winding road for the 914s. But not to many passing lanes. There's some pull overs, but some slow drivers don't know what they're for...Also Haunted Hambuger is a good place to have eats. The wife and I go to the Gurley Grill a lot, good food.

I was planning to use the big open lot just up from the fire station, if it is still there.
A short walk is required, but we can all park together.

Hey, can someone make a list of attendees that correlates people's real names with their screen names?

That way, at the brewery I won't have to call people goofy stuff like "MGP4591" or "Elliot Cannon" and such.

Not using real names is one of my pet peeves. If everyone used their real name it would save you from having to ask, "So who are you on the board". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Goofy as it may sound Elliot Cannon is my real name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)
