So what's the plan; or is there one? You got ripped by your friend/mechanic and there are engine parts missing? Is this the hold up? Or perhaps motivational after the trust rape? I can dig up the "Slacker's Thread" if you think that would help. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) Your in a 914 rich target area so let's get the ball rolling again. Let me know if you need something. Perhaps this stall in your build is due in part to your realization that you really want a Suby 6. I'm getting the /6 parts back and a substantial amount of money.

Out of the blue, but I think this is getting better really soon.

Wish me luck today, I'm going down there to pick up my engine and a cashier's check.

I know, "I'll believe it when I see it."

Hopefully, I get clear of this asshole and start over fresh with a better builder.

The 911 engine is now home, back in my garage. Although it now has been taken all apart, it seems to be complete, what I gave the guy.

Also, a big fat cashiers check.

My faith in humanity is somewhat renewed.

Expected a worse ending.......glad it turned out on a positive note. Now find a well known established shop and builder and finish what you started.

I sold/dumped the 2.0 /6 and bought a big /6 engine that should arrive in a week or so.
This white car is going to be sold so I can concentrate on finally reaching my goal of having a bitchin 911 motor in my nice black 914.

I am having separation anxiety over selling this '73 2.0 which I have grown fond of.
