Hi,
Is anyone running AC on a 914-6 conversion? I live in Florida and would like to have AC. I think that with the 6 it should be easy to cool the interior without loosing too much power. I assume that the 914 evaporator would work, but how about the compressor and bracket, dryer and condenser? Condenser still requires cutting the floor in the front trunk? Thanks, Bill. |

Yup, the mount in on Gary's car and while the rest of the A/C system hasn't been finalized yet, we have driven the car with compressor in and hooked up. Hasn't thrown a belt, made noise, or otherwise shown any signs of issue. And we'll be handling the evaporator installation later this month.
