Great picture. Seems to encapsulate lot's of my car karma. My grandparents got me into "sports cars" via Karmann Ghias and Capris. Made offers on many 914's over decades before scoring one months ago. (probably overpaid).
Tried to buy more than 1 Fiat 850, fun car. Tried to buy more than 1 MGB. Unfortunately bought more than one AH Sprite and Midget! Kicked the tires on a few Z cars but couldn't commit. Of course they are coming into their own now.... First DD was an 80/81 Ford Pinto when I was in high school. 2.2 liter 4 speed. Actually got low speed rear ended by a school bus and it was not damaged at all. Found this picture on the Hemmings app. |
