I just came in from the garage where I was working on a wooden mockup of the adapter plate. I had to stop because I let the magic smoke out of my dremel trying to cut the center out of the wooden mockup.

Here is a picture of the adapter plate dimensions.

This was a bitch to create. Lots of time researching it, and lots of time testing and combining the drawings. I have made 4 separate wooden mockups. I had one hole slightly off on the last one.

And I still have to make the cutout for the DME sensor.

I am going to go try to make the first one later this week. Wish me luck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Mueller... if you want to try it, go for it. I have to go borrow some time on a Bridgeport to make this.

For Reference, here's the G86 bolt pattern diagram I found on the internet.

Once I make the plate, I am going to pull the engine off the stand and test it.

Honestly, I wouldn't go to the trouble if it wasn't a 6 speed, or I could flip the ring and pinion on a G-50 gearbox.
