Out comes the tranny. WEVO shift parts are on the way.

I can't believe how dirty it is back there from the 2000 mile WCC trip. I'll have to get in there with some soap and a brush.

Joe, what happened to the 914? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Shifter troubles?

Maybe you should put a 2270 in it? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif)

Be sure to update us on returning the Vellois parts to Patrick (if you get any grief).

When I ordered the Vellios conversion kit for the tranny, I didn't know WEVO was making a better set up.

Nothing broke, but I want it to shift perfectly, so I'm changing conversion kits.

You test out the 2270 and let me know how it goes. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

I've listed the parts for sale here for $1500 (negotiable). If anyone wants them, it's a good price.

Otherwise, they're going back to Patrick. He know's they're coming.

You will be happy with the WEVO set-up...it makes it feel like a brand new 993.

Here is a picture of it installed on the tranny in the tube frame 914 racer...

What other WEVO bits did you get? I have the internal gate shift on mine, I can't wait to get my car together to try it out.

I have the shifter too. The gate shift mod is not in the budget right now as sorting out the tranny has become rediculously expensive.

I'll be out sometime this week, but I'm on short calls lately so I probably won't be able to come down this time.

Absolutely, but the notice on my trips has been very short lately.

We may just be airlining out in the morning to return here in the afternoon.

I would love to get together. Let's set something up when I know my schedule and have an overnight or two.
