Since everyone is still jazzed from the fantastic event (thanks Kent) this past weekend, now seems like a good time to make some plans for next years traveling party.
We need suggestions on where to have the event? Cities to invade? Roads to terrorize? Parking lots to party? It would be awesome is someone is brave enough to step up to be the host / planner. |

Just asked the map program for an estimate. 25-27 hours 1 way. Around 1800 miles to get there. On the other hand it sounds fun.
I am not wild about the big cities - my mom had a place in Apache Junction and the hour of quick moving freeway needed to cross Phoenix from the airport to her place was a bit demoralizing. Is the plan to spend the first night on the outskirts? The drives all sound great. I am leaning towards running out in the 3.2, but I put headers not heat exchangers on it. Maybe the lower level runs will make that work out. |
