Hope the date holds, weekend before PCA Treffen in New Mexico so I can attend both during the trip west, might be in the 911 but plenty of time to figure that out. Steve: The date is good. BTW- meeting you at WCR inspired me to plan to drive a 914 to Okteenerfest 2018. Hope you make it to Rt66. |

Rt 66 will definitely be in the plans for next year, and thanks for stopping when you saw me on the side of the road on Sunday, just taking some final pics. Okteenerfest 2018 might be in same place as 2017, worth the trip, excellent roads in that area (northeast Georgia), you should plan on spending extra time to check out the area. Another event you should consider is the Texas Hill Country Rallye - it's for air cooled Porsche's up to 1989 - held 3rd or 4th weekend in March. See you next year. |

. . . . . weekend before PCA Treffen in New Mexico so I can attend both . . . . . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) That is certainly something to consider. A few years ago I did the Red Rock Classis and Rennsport on back to back weekends. It was exceptional fun. |

A few years ago I did the Red Rock Classis and Rennsport on back to back weekends. It was exceptional fun. In Sept I attended Okteenerfest and on the following weekend Treffen Asheville. Found some excellent roads in between including Tail of the Dragon. Northeast Georgia and western North Carolina had some excellent roads. |

I'm working on it...hotels are selected and I'm waiting for the managers to send me a contract before I announce the details. I plan to start an official thread with hotel and other details by end of next week.

I'll bring a tow rope in case we see you broke down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

Great, I've already made some reservations for some of my planned travels next year, I'm finding hotels fill very early. |
