More work on the first case half, I underestimated the amount of work the case alone would need. It's getting there though!

Still obviously a work in progress.

I love your solid modeling renderings. Say, I"m working on designing a garage to house my aircooled stable and was wondering if you could export a plan view of a 914-6 to a 2-d AutoCAD (*.dwg or *.dxf) file for my use in architectural layouts? It's a tight building (existing) and need to make every inch count.

Thanks,

Scott Bartmess

There's a 914 model on GrabCAD.com. It's not very accurate, but I used it when modeling my shop renovation.

I know it's not 914 related, but thought you guys might enjoy it anyway.

Simply amazing work.

Have you played with animations yet? I made my 1st assembly in Fusion 360 a few nights ago, not a fan of it compared to my old Alibre.

Those rear quarter air intakes would be perfect for doing a Boxster engine conversion.

I had to make a racing version of that early 911.

Glen, make your own calendar. I’d spring for one.
Love your renderings. That Monte 911 is excellent with motor tucked next to it.

I'd take a few calendars if you ever do them.
Give them out as Christmas gifts to my Porsche friends.

Thanks guys! Some stuff is in the works, will try to get a calendar available to those who want one.

in the meantime, here's a few rendered views of a 9146GT I've been working on. Not 100% accurate, but each time I change things it gets closer.

And a few parts added to the engine.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c1.staticflickr.com-19709-1520691672.1.jpg)

It's getting more and more complete, but still missing a lot of smaller bits. The next big chunk is finishing the carb linkage.
