So, flaring the fenders for the Neocar proved to be a bit of a challenge because its not a regular f/g car.. these have to be steel. So. This is basiclally how im going to make HPH style flares out of stock steel fenders... Hopefully (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
Anyways.. heres me starting to take the paint off the fender and reinforce it because streching the metal will warp the shape of the fender. Hope you aprove Felix! Attached image(s) |

I could make room.
Got any room for me for a weekend? I think that is the best choice.... I was thinking of that... Weld stock fenders to NEO and it will get the least amount of warpage that way and will remain easy to manipulate. Locate another fender (you already have that one... lol) and have Roger or someone weld em up... If it was at my house, I have 2 hours at least every day to work on them, and 10 hours on some days (finally... requested to work less hours at work. ) But it shouldnt take that long. (I could do alot of finishing towards it, but Im sure you want Mark to finish them, Im not much of a finish work guy.. lol LEt me know what you think. IM open to anything right now, I just want to get some good fenders on your car. Andrew |
