I had my guys do a quick exterior 2-stage PAINT REFRESH on this nice local survivor.

Only got rid of a few dents, nothing major, ZERO rust. Restored and repainted bumpers. LOOK'N GOOD for the summer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Well, I don't have any 914s anymore, that's why.

I dug my old 98 Harley out of the garage back in February (after sitting for 9 years) to make room for my 912's return home. Got new tires, front brake rotor, all new brake pads, oil change & tune-up.

Just got around to detailing it last w/e

Today we installed a set of GT3 RS side skirts on my brother's 991.1 Turbo S coupe. Subtle change, adds 1/2" to the width and will provide additional rock/debris protection. Plus, they look great. He is very pleased with the result.

I have been after my buddy Greg, whose garage we work on many Porsche cars in, to clean up his garage. I offered to come out and spend the day cleaning with him. He took me up on the offer and yesterday we emptied his shop, it's a 2-car garage, detached. He has a 3-car on his house with his 4 Porsches in it - all Concourse cars.

We started at 0700 and emptied it completely - except the cabinets. I swept it out. He used a pressure washer, lightly, to spray the walls down (finished sheet rock) and I followed that with a soft RV brush on a pole and lightly soaped the walls. He then rinsed them off and a whole lot of crap came off. We had 3 fans going with 4 windows open.

While that was happening, my brother, (just had foot surgery last week) and our friend HB went and bought a few gallons of paint... yeah, he decided he wanted to paint. They came back with white paint, Greg's request. I began rolling the walls and Greg started cutting-in. We were about 1/3 done when his wife came out and said, "Nope, not going to be white".

Sandy then went to the paint store and returned with Navaho White.... While she was gone I rolled out all the walls for a good base coat for the new color. We then got to work painting while another friend, Todd B., arrived and began cleaning all of the framed garage art. Once we finished painting, we hung the art and began cleaning equipment and putting it back in the garage. At 6:15, we called it a day. Still more to do as Greg continues "The Great Purge".

My brother took pictures and I should have those in the morning.

In the mean time, Greg has always known I loved his little, mini Snap-on tool box he had stored on a top garage cabinet. He was a Snap-on dealer for a career and has a few of them.

He took the box down and asked if I wanted it? Do I want it? Hell yeah! He said, "It belongs to you now." I took it home, it has never been used or even opened. It was dusty. I cleaned and waxed it and it will now live on our garage counter and house small tools. I think it is adorable!

Didn't work on anything, and won't be for a while. Having a left shoulder replacement early Monday morning, and doing all the pre-op bs... not looking forward to the rehab!!

At least when I can drive, a stick won't be a big problem as I don't live in the UK... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

@SKL1 - Sorry you are going through this. I had my right shoulder replaced 5 years ago. It was the best surgery I have ever had. The only pain I had was from the incision and that was not bad at all.

My surgeon told me to take it slow and easy with the shoulder. Because I can't do that, I was gingerly, easily, painting the inside of our new home in 3 weeks. My recovery/rehab was actually pretty easy. I wish you the same.
