I swear, regular life is not conducive to 914 restoration. I can never understand how some people here seem to move so quickly on their builds. Great job keeping at it despite all the curveballs you’ve been thrown!
I can sympathize with you on the delusional in-law thing. Going through something similar with my mother in law, but thankfully no money has been lost… yet! |

I pulled the Ravena green engine cover off the wall and hung up the patina blue cover with the Porsche lettering. I also added the Porsche parking only sign someone gave me for the full effect - come on motivation! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
Here's the 914 in the garage along with most all of the parts (still some in the storage) and up on the QuickJacks. Doesn't leave a lot of room to work but if I pull out the truck I should have ample room to get something done. Here's the Magnaflow mufflers I found that seem like they will fit pretty well. I had mocked up a cardboard "muffler" to test fit under the car before I pulled the trigger on purchasing two of them. Not super cheap. Pretty good likeness, at least for test fitting! |
