Just a few years ago you could buy really nice ones for teener money.
I've always wanted one but they do scare me. Definitely orders of magnitude more complex than the 914. At the time I was seriously considering buying one I would follow the 928 forums. It was not uncommon to hear people boasting about how they completed a 300 mile trip without a breakdown. If that is their definition of reliability I figured these could be a never ending money pit. But yes, they look great. |
