Red circle = factory plugged rain tray drain? On a 1972 914-6 maybe they left them stamped, then plugged them? They were plugged on all 6s....no rain tray Only one fuel delivery on a 6, other oval hole plugged in engine tray The oval nylon plug is a tough one to find. The sixes had the holes stamped for the rain tray drains, and they had a plastic plug in them from the factory. Clay |

Your car has some features that are not found on '70-'71 year 914 6s The recoil seat belt mounts and later jack mount seem odd at first but are found on all 1972 model year 914s Did it have two movable seats ? |

Love this thread, so much new metal going into this 914-6.
Question: You using a flux core welder? Seems like a lot of slag being tossed around. |

Je pense que vous être très magnifique. C'est incroyable!
Can you tell that I haven't used my French since high school? That was about 48 years ago. Best of luck to you & your project. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) |
