Cool pin stripe - it's like a designer's style line; they picked up the bottom of the turn signal - top of the wheel arch, bottom of the door handle pocket and likely some to the rear.

This Sonauto badge was available 2 years ago:
https://www.early911sregistry.org/forums/sh...l-Sonauto-badgeThe 1972 914/6 are interesting cars. A few steps forward, and a few steps back. Along with the 914/4 steering column and ignition switch, it appears the windshield washer is the 914/4 system. Were the upper front suspension mounts painted with tar like the earlier 914/6 or without tar like the 914/4?
Please look carefully for the Karmann body # in the rear trunk. It should be in the right rear corner near the right tail light with the form of 1320xxx where xxx should be close to the last three digits of the VIN.
Please get a photo of the VIN on the right inner fender and the paint badge .
There should also be a handwritten production # (may or may not be exactly the same as the Karmann body #) on the underside of the dash on the removable rear part.

I hope this is not the case!!
This needs to be done properly! The way this is going, rust is going to come through within a couple years after paint.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. You need to cut the entire sail panel off and blast behind there. I'm sorry to say, but this is not the correct way to be doing a restoration on a 914

I use primer filler pro before welding the new part.

Just keep in mind brazing is much like a glue and sticks different metals together but never becomes one like welding. Welding is where there is intermixing of all metals associated with the weld area/HAZ and becomes one thus less likely of future rust.
I teach welding and have for 20 years so not arm chair quarterbacking this statement. As long as you have removed all the rust brazing is an OK solution just not a Great solution.

The upper front suspension mounts painted with tar like the earlier 914/6.
and
this what I found on it
too much rust in the rear trunk but we can read 4 so I believe it's the same Karmann body number.

i understand!
i ensure you I have removed all the rust. personally i prefer use brazing when it's curved and thin. hop isn't the worst solution.

Your car has great potential but needs much care.
Where is that floor from ?
It is advisable to stabilize the door openings (and more) before doing the substantial
welding necessary...... to avoid disappointing results.
Bon chance.
