An update....
I have been driving the car all summer and loving it! I had some problems initially with the throttle shafts sticking on the new PMO's and had to get EMPI/PMO to send me a replacement set. Once I installed these and I dialed in the set-up, the car has been a joy to drive, I haven't really had the top on at all since April. The chassis stiffness if perfect and the road feel is great. The 3.2 short stroke is very responsive and gives both good low RPM torque and high-end power. My wife loves the open feel of the car and the noise in the cockpit is low enough to allow conversation. I can't say enough good things about this car.  |

I saw Tom's car a few weeks ago when I picked up a car trailer I bought from him. Just beautiful work.

I should say, "inspected" Tom's trailer. He delivered it a week later. Sadly, the 914 stayed behind.
