New pressure plate and TO bearing arrived today. Thinking that a second hand early KEP clutch might have had a mismatch between TO bearing and pressure plate such that the bearing became cocked somewhat sideways, limiting my ability to release the clutch. Really disappointed. Suggest that 2024 RRC be held in Omaha or maybe Ames so I have a better chance of attending. Iowa hotel prices tend to drop off in late September, and if you make it as far as Dubuque, you can have a ham sent home. Oh, who am I kidding? That is light pink rocks classic at best.

Damn gint amazing how well that turned out. That’s some good s—- your using, worth the work your putting into it. Thanks Jimmy! That looks great Gint. Planning to attend RR 2024. Wish I could have been there this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Next year is the 20th anniversary. Probably in Moab. We'll be there for sure. Damn gint amazing how well that turned out. That’s some good s—- your using, worth the work your putting into it. Do we get to say "I told you so!" now? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) It needs more paint correction than that to be really nice. There are still a lot of scratches and some strange water marks or something that aren't showing up in those pictures. They are hard to capture in that light. But the difference is really amazing. You were right. |
