My 0-5 bar pressure sender and gauge was pegged on a cold engine. I replaced the gauge with a 0-10 bar sender and matching numeric pressure gauge. I’m seeing around 100 PSI on a cold engine reving the motor around 3500-4K. Some threads on Pelican are saying this is normal. I noticed @sirandy posted the same issue on Pelican. Andy what was the outcome? Did you just live with it or make any changes?

Hi Steve,
Hope you are doing well and enjoying retirement. On my engine, I typically show 80 PSI when it starts and idles. If I raise the RPMs a bit it will go up, but not to 100. Once warm, it usually does not go over 80. It does appear the 993 motors run more pressure than others for sure. I am running 10W50 Mobil 1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

I am running Mobil one 15/50 synthetic. Retirement is great. I have never been this relaxed |
