Glad you will be OK.

Take the steps you need to take - we need people like you around.

Spent 4 gays in the hospital couple years ago - friggin nurses never let you sleep - even had one would not give me my pain pill till it was *time* - and I WAS in agony (shattered ankle).

Get well and listen and research what they say.

Joe,

Glad to hear that you're home and hope you are feeling better.

A coulpe of months ago, my wife's father had open heart surgery to replace a valve, as well as a couple of bypasses.
He spent a week in the hospital and two more weeks in a rehab
center after that. He developed a murmur and had to return to the hospital to get that corrected. For an 81 year old guy, he's doing better now.

My mother-in-law, during that week of the surgery, fell in the hospital and injured her back. She's now undergoing treatment for that. Still waiting to see how she does.

Last week, my wife was diagnoised with adult onset diabeties.
For now, the doctor feels she can control this with diet and meds.

Needless to say, this has not been a very good year for us. Too much on our minds to enjoy life. Hpoefully next year will be better.

Take care of yourself.

Joe,
I am a little embarased here....

But I have to tell you the truth.

You have to better care of yourself for me.

Cause I STILL haven't stole that last BBQ recipe from you...

FURTHERMORE:

I will come over and eat all the bad shit for you.

That way you can stay healthy and happy for your children and your self...

Let's start with the Tri tip... I will be over very soon to get rid of that bad beef for you.

I just told Dorothy whaZZ up with you. She sends her love and support. In fact she is coming over with me to eat ALL that bad stuff around your house. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

AND:

Let me know when ya wanna finish tuning the V8 Teener.

PLUS:

The shop with the DYNO I told you about was Superior Automotive in Anaheim.
The owners name is Joe Jill.
Use my name and he will charge ya double. (my cut included) Superior Automotive

Give Joe Jill a call and report back to us on what you find out. ($s etc.)

Joe knows his shit... Period. He has a couple (3) chassis dynos and enough electronics to kill a cow. And for the stock teenr. he has a fuel injector machine to measure flow. He can clean em and flow em to give you a matching set.

He also has a Dizzy machine to re-spec curves. (nice)

I wish the guy built Type IVs.

FINALLY:

Call me if need anything. Scotty, Aaron, Matt and the crew have my phone number.

Best wishes again brother...

Clayton

Man, I take a break from studying to find this! Joe, stop stressing Cherry out, ya big galute. I am glad that you are not dying on us. You are gonna have to hold on a few more years before I can get you the Dr discount.

Speaking of hearts, I had my hands around a dandy today. It was the size of a cows heart because of hypertrophy. It was soo big it shrunk one of the lungs to an itty bitty size. It had a double bypass with a pace maker, too. Neat stuff. Donate your bodies to science people! We need you (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chowtime.gif)

Joe,

Gather as much information on AF that you can. The good news is that much information is known about the electrophysics of your heart. Some AF can be treated with medication, otherwise a pacing device can be installed. The heart is a muscle that can heal with lifestyle improvements, a healthy diet, and the love of your friends. Dean Ornish MD has a few good books on the subject.

Glad you're home and improving!!! Cheryl and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts.

Kind Regards,
Rob

Hey Joe, I'm very glad you're back home and doing much better. I just read this tonight and was like "HOLYCRAP I was just at his place and he was fine!" What caused it? Are you going to be OK?

i've actually had it before. Just never for 12 hrs in a row (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

basically my heart rate was very irregular. which causes my blood pressure to be irregular too.

I'm going to be fine. Clayton has decided to be my "designated eater" at all future BBQ's. He will simply follow me around and whatever i point at he has to eat. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Seriously though, i don't think it's the BBQ's. I just have been eating way too much junk food over the past year. I've got the gut to prove it! Gotta drop some weight and eat better.

I know how scary this is the first time you experience it. Been there done that. Scared the crap out me until I did some research.

If you can go out and adopt a dog Joe.....One that needs lots of exercise like a border collie or such that you have to walk twice a day....That's what I did. It forces you to exercise.
That's what I eventually did 7 1/2 years ago, three years after my first episode of A-fib. I had many 12 hour sessions at first, then with weight loss and exercise they gradually became shorter and fewer and much milder until now the last one was over a year ago, and only lasted an hour or so.
A side benefit of all that exercise is you will feel way better, and have a lot more energy.
I was 205 lbs when the problem started, and now I'm
180, and am trying to lose another 5 lbs.

Take care of your self Joe.....

Check the grounds, look for brown wires.

If you have a BBQ problem, you can always PM me for a disposal address.
