were the 916 rocker panel fg or steel? Also since the tops were steel does the factory still have the molds for it?

Andy - you show a pic of a 74. Did they make a 74 916? I thought there were only 11 or 12 or so and they were earlier.

it doesn't show a '74 916 ... it shows 914.2.33.0020 in '74
this pic ist just to figure out the repaint of this car - it left factory silver/orange ...

all 916 were made in late 1971 => MJ 1972
therefore they have 914.2.33.00xx VINs (only the prototype car has 914.1.43.0195)
