Yeah- you gotta love those roads. I like how you kept your cool. I would've been shaking my fist at the sky. It would've been embarasing to see on camera.

Couple of years ago at TH we had 3 fresh pheasants after 2 run sessions.
A little red stuff on front airdams, otherwise no damage.
Someone had some very fresh poultry that evening (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
And no buckshot to find. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

My buddy and I used to "hunt" partridge (pheasant) on the logging roads using an old Volvo as our "weapon". That video kind of brought back a bunch of old memories, but without the slowing down part.

Venison. Every once in awhile a deer makes it onto the track at Lime Rock or Watkins Glen. A few years ago a guy in front of me hit a squirel turning into the laces, and much of the squirels remains ended up on my hood/windshield (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif)

BTW
Did you know our "Turkey" expert is Iamchappy. I have one of his pictures hanging in my office. Can't find a picture in my files. Hopefully he will chime in and show a picture. Dave won an award for his wildlife paintings.

Turkeys... Them bastards get into my friends' vineyard and shit all over everything. Plus eating every damn thing in sight! They're smart mothers, though--they disappear every year in early November, and don't show back up until early December.

Deer... A few years ago, I went to the Wine Country Classic vintage race. They had a deer that wandered into the area of turn 9-turn 10. It went across the track three times with no real problems. Then it ran across a fourth time. An Allard needed some body work after that. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) Poor dumb deer, too. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Heh, just remembered. In the paddock of that event, I asked one guy if the car he was working on was an RS-60. He got up and shook my hand--"You've no idea how many people ask me if this is a Ghia!!" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)
