To make sure that folks can find their way from the EconoLodge to "The Place" for breakfast, here's some directions:
Turn right (north) out of the motel onto Milton and just follow the road. It will turn east after it goes under the railroad tracks and proceeds through downtown. When you get to the traffic light at Steves Blvd you can start looking for landmarks. You'll see The Museum Club on your left as well as a bowling alley. Shortly after is the Taco Bell/Long John Silvers. This is the shopping center where breakfast is. "The Place" is behind the Burger King. It will probably be easiest to park in the Sizzler parking lot since it should be pretty empty. The whole distance is about 4.5 miles. The Sizzler is on the corner of Fanning & Route 66. Fanning is a traffic light also so you can turn left and come in behind the Sizzler also. Attached image(s) |

I'm probably a negative too. I don't trust my new 914 yet and my S2 is just not quite back on the road after major head service. It will probably be running the day of the event. But, it will be just back on the road with no "burn in" time to know it is roadtrip worthy.

The caravan from the west will be gathering near the 210 and the 15 at about 6am tomorrow and will stop for breakfast to let the sun get out of our faces. Then we'll be off like a herd of Porsches. My PDA phone number. 323-351-4686. Joe |

Missed you people at the Beaver Street Brewery; guess I was at the Brfewery when I should be at the motel and visa versa. Anyway cannot make the breakfast listed at 914AM since I will be involved in the run to Seligman and Oatman and Kingman. Have a great trip and enjoy.

go Mikey!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) John P.S. Waide going? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Waide couldn't get out of a golf outing that he was invited to. I went for breakfast and then a few hours of driving around Flagstaff & Sedona. Man it is pretty up there. It was good to see everyone again. I forgot to take my camera (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) but there were plenty of pictures being taken. Looking forward to seeing them.... |
