I think a great time was had by all!

A few thank yous :

To Craig for being such a gracious host and for that special goody bag.

To Dr. G & his beautiful wife , obviously proud of their city. Priceless to see the both of them all cleaned up in crisp white shirts in contrast to the rest of us completely frazzeled after the MT Hood run.

McMark for helping me with my fuel pump relay & hot start problem.

Sir Andy for being there.

Paul for bringing the entire family from Florida and riding with me around the track at PIR.

Joe Sharp gotta love the beer man!

Dino " the human beer opener"

WWC 07 here we come!

I actually like that coffee mug more than I thought I would. I used it for coffee all weekend. Woulda used it for beer, but because I didn't I still have the mug in one piece. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

We just got back.

First I would like to thank Southwest Airlines. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) They got us home and back without a problem.

Next I want to thank everyone who had ANYTHING to do with the WCC. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

And last, my family for coming with me. Actually they said I couldn't come without them.

Paul

PS. I was finally able to prove to my wife that you guys are real and I haven't been on-line dating for the last 3 years. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Great pics Gwen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) I was hoping someone got some of the paddock at PIR and your mountain shots are cool 'specially the one of me & Pamela at the group shot moving the cars with tele-kinesis! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

....b

Thanks. I have more pix, but I ran out of steam last night making them web-ready (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I have 180 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif) I'll post them on Kodak Gallery later. Stay tuned...

My folks had such a great time that my dad is now calling himself a born-again 914 fan! He even put a deposit down on Leemon's conourse-condition original, one-owner 1.7 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) So we're about to become a 2 Teener family (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

This un-club is such a wonderful community...Thanks ya'll:clap:

Gwen tell your Dad I will contact him soon. As great as the white 914 is I still most make it clear that with about two days of detail touch-up it would be a show car in the drivers wash and shine class. I already miss it but I can tell its going to a good home. I think your dad will be very happy with the power of this little 1.7. I was and my other car is a 3.2 247 hp 914.

Here's a little anecdote that I thought you'd all appreciate.

A client of mine was in the Bay area this week and called me just a few moments ago after returning to Portland. He said he saw this yellow license plate in the back window of a 914 with my company's logo on it. (didn't get what color the car was, trailered or driven or who's car it might have been - but THANKS whom ever!) Of course he wanted to know more about it, why my logo was on a car in the Bay area and why an architecture firm would sponsor a club event.

Needless to say, but that conversation alone made the sponsorship worthwhile.

Thanks to everyone involved for a great event. I met some great people, even though I'm not a drinker or big partyer. My son loved it and met heeltoe914's son - who also races karts!

good times! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
