Got a pair of 22" x2" in 2"out CherryBomb glasspacks.

I made flanges that mount to the headers out of 1/4" flat bar stock.

After cutting one end at a 10 degree angle and welding the flanges on, I did a short test drive.

My wife said, "You'll be happy to know, there wasn't anytime that I couldn't hear you!".

I'll run them at Alameda to entertain myself, take them off for Laguna and then back on for the rest of the season.

They sound fantastic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

I shoot a couple pics tomorrow and provide some 50' drive-by Db readings on the limiter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif)

$50 project...

Trekkor,
Your better bring your Sebring muffler along just incase. Occasionally some official from Alameda comes with a sound meter....

They want us to be pretty quite...although I have never seen anyone get nailed, I would hate to see you have to stop running because of sound.

A small Six with Megaphones can be pretty raucous (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

FYI (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Don't you want the crossover pipe for some added torque?

Cherry trees , sir. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif)

Pics tomorrow...

I will bring my muffler to the a/x, no doubt, and my sound meter, too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

I ran my megaphones on my FOUR at Candlestick one time and I had a blast, literally. Nobody seemed to mind.

I know Alameda is a little more rigid, but if you've ever watched "Mythbusters", they make way more noise there than I ever will (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

HAHA I am so happy to have my loud exhaust off the car. Anything over an hour was murder. I'm begining to think alot of people around here are mildly deaf (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If you are beating my times at Alameda I'll make sure to complain to the officials about excessive noise. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

FYI I recall Monty in his 996 having to change back to a more quiet exhaust at Alameda this season due to "official ruling".

...Hey I have two old Supercraps I could throw on my car without the baffles. Bet those would sound mean.

Grant bring the 'Trapps. For me to look at.

As for the deal with Monty. I personally used my sound meter and could not get readings that were "too high".

I think they may have been metering him on Dbc as oppossed tp Dba. BIG differance. The meter has to be switched to Dba as mine defaults to Dbc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
