Sadly, my day Friday ended with the 914 being towed to the mechanic. Huge fuel delivery problems. Not sure if it is the fuel delivery from the tank or something tangling up the carbs. Fuel pump was replaced about a mile from Performance Products in Van Nuys. Made a difference for a minute and then the car was choked for fuel again. This is what I get for buying and bringing back to life a car that sat for six years.
Nonetheless, I will not be attending tomorrow. Need to provide some repairs to another car this weekend so that I can get to work on Monday. Hope to join the next ride. |
