I made my guess of 22.3397 pounds by using group aggregation, sometimes called the Delphi effect.

There's a interesting tidbit in the world of crowd psychology where if you have a large group of informed peers trying to guess, say, how many marbles are in a jar, or how much an ox weighs at the county fair (famous example), or how much a pile of scraped off undercoating weighs, their average combined guess is nearly, and creepily, correct.

Turn out, my guess was off by two pounds. From a pool of 73 guesses when I added them up. I'll bet the guess would be closer if I compute in the rest of the guesses that arrived after mine.
