I am looking for a set of rubber gaskets for the outer door handles as well as for the rear trunk lock. If anyone has them please let me know and bring them on Sunday!
Since I will be moving soon and cannot not take my stockpile of parts I will have some $1 and $5 boxes with parts as well as some various slightly higher dollar items (all under $20 though) and I don't want to leave with any of it, so please look through them!
Can't wait for Sunday! Will hopefully get the teener ready for the drive...

my interior is still out, but the mat is in. Maybe I'll throw a seat in there and come out.
I do need a set of nice front euro lenses and a front hood seal.
Anyone need a set of front Koni shocks? D series
Also will have a pair of speaker grills. One of them has a small broken corner.

The Thunderbird Lodge was OK. The hookers outside the Thunderbird Lodge, not so much.
It actually won some awards after it's re-modeling. I got a free night with my Priority Club membership at the Holiday In Ontario Airport. Nice place and close enough to Riverside. It's usually where I stay for an event in SoCal.

I am so up in the air on this one.
Looks like everyone will be there. Lots of new faces.
I have been debating on what to drive, the Ruby FI 2.0 or the Suby
Both are not completely together.
If I took the Ruby car there is a chance I would find a future buyer.
Na, 2mAn wants rust free, that's NLA. 3 years ago it was pre-rusted. Now it's got a little free rust.
Still not quite ready to sell her though.
So, I am jumbling other plans around, trying to make it.
Looks like it will be a last second decision.

I just brown it in the pan. I do cut it small for the event. If you don't some folks will not get any meat. When I make it at home I use 1.5" cubes. It shrinks. And like stew it needs to go thru at least one heat/cool cycle to tenderize the meat. Venison ham is super for chili but I haven't seen any deer between San Diego and LA.

Much thanks to Ron and Glen for another successful G&R swap meet. A special congratulations to Marv's3.6six for finally bringing his 3.6 to the meet. I guess it was worth the wait because it is one of the best 914's on the west coast. The second and third pics are Marv's car. The Carrera GT silver looks fantastic and even though it wasn't entirely finished, the detail on the car is great. Here are just a few of the cars that were there.

Man-o-man, looking at the pix, it's become painfully evident that I missed shaking hands and BSing with a lot of you guys this time
I attempted to get some aerial footage with a little quad copter, but it didn't go as well as planned. When I reviewed the 5 minute file, it looks like one hard landing stopped the video at 1 minute, but continued to record audio for an additional 4 minutes
... missing a lot of what was to be pretty good footage of the event
This was the first time I actually drove a 914 to the event in the 8 years I've been going. Got tired of loading up the Tacoma and coming home with more than I took, so I only brought a few selected items this time (and those items were mostly trades arranged in advance)
