60 now, first 914 purchased when I was 27. And here she is!

47. Bought my 73 17 years ago. My dad had a six when I learned to drive. I was hooked. Wish he hadn't sold it.

40.....got the “Disease” around 20.....haven’t found a cure yet...although not sure I want a cure!

I was born in 1969 .I bought my first 914 29 years ago.

Bought my first six in 1976. I am 67 now and still in love.

Bought mine in 1973 when I was 18..
Had a few 911’s and a 930 come and go
But this one stayed...

60 and I snatched the keys from my father when I was 17. I never returned the keys.

I still remember my dad and I signing the paperwork when I was 14..

57 have owned at least one 914 for the past 22 years

56. Have not driven one yet but now that the metal work is almost done I feel like Im on the home stretch.

60 today 61 next month!! Purchased my 914 March of 1980. I often do a average from the birthday message and find the average age to be in the 50 to 60 range.....Paul

Fitty eight and feeling 40. Purchased my first, damn near rust free, 914 in Cali and had it shipped to FL a couple of years ago. Enjoying every minute of the process of a complete rebuild. I can’t wait to drive it for the first time.

happy birthday YOUNG man (compared to me!!!)

53 next month. Fell in love with the 914 in the mid 70s as a kid. Bought my first one at 48 (supposed to buy my youngest their car) and my 2nd one at 50 (because I'm old and can buy a 2nd). I'll be glad when I'm done paying off all these random car payments (2 cars for the kids and my 2nd 914).

Turning 60 next month, I am hopeful that I will have mine on the road in May.

57, first 914 in 1979.

Will be 76 in Sept. First 914 bought in 1980. Parted out about 15 of the cars in the next 20 years. Wish I had kept track of the Vins. Currently have a 73 2.0 Auto-X car. ( 31 years ownership ) and a 73 1.7 project that I'll likely never finish.

65 and 3 and 2/3rds grandchildren. I’ll probably sell the 914 in a year or so. The kids like the 240Z better...

68 is just around the corner & still having fun.

I got the 914 when I was 36. I am turning 43 this year.

My 10 year old daughter is claiming the car is hers to keep. I agree with her.

73 in September no grand children but my youngest son is 12, step son’s 25 and my daughters 48. I was ready to sign the paperwork on a year old brand new (they couldn’t get rid of them) 1970 914 6 when my first wife informed me of our baby on the way, a surprise she was holding out on telling me of this special occasion but decided it should be before I bought the car hence never got the 914 6.

Bought my 73 2L in Dec. 1975 at 23 from the OO - looking to escape my gas guzzling `69 Pontiac Ventura 400 ci beast in the aftermath of the 1st oil crisis' resulting $1-1.25/gal gas - which seems low today, but was up 400-500% in a matter of 2 months from the prior 20-25 cents per gal.!

Still waiting to get her fixed/resto'd & back on the road!

My drivers license says 70, but I’m not sure that’s trustworthy.

72 This is my 6th and last one. It will go back to California where it came from and have a good life with my nephew.

Well I feel better now. I am older than about 60%, and younger than about 40% of you. My first 914 was over 40 years ago. Guess I can continue to enjoy it for awhile longer.

Are you going to crunch the numbers Jeff. There has got to be a mean in there some where. 71 in June. You ben watching what I'm doing. Not much like any 70 year old I know.
