Lyressa, no worries.  My wife and I might plan a get together for all of our friends here in Sept.

Late September, I hope? I'll be in Texas from September 3rd through the 18th, and then working the last weekend of the month...boy, my job sucks...

BTW: SEEMORE BUTZ - that picture is bloody disturbing!!! I eyes bug out every time I go over it! laugh.gif

I've been in Klamath Falls, Oregon for a year now. I grew up in South San Jose and then relocated to Paso Robles, Ca. finally coming here last year. Not many Teeners here in KF. or atleast haven't seen any. Houses are alot more affordable here than California. A medium priced home 3bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage is about 155k. not bad considering Ca. prices. I do mechanical design/drafting for Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors. I make good money and could not afford a house on the central coast. not much other major employer here in southern oregon. Congrats to you for the move and your future success!

Well, we'll get to know each other for sure.  Are you working with Ramp or with TD?

I did some R&D/reverse engineering up at the Aloha campus a few years ago (I think it was that one, are they pretty much right in the middle of a residential area??)

Hey Briton...Sherryl and I are driving up to Seattle Sept. 8th or 9th, maybe we could help with something.....

Shall we have a 914 Breakfast or BBQ for you guys???

I can't wait to meet all you guys up there and make some new car buddies. It is really cool that some of you even work at Intel up there and who knows, I may be working with some of you directly. As we get closer to finalizing our move, I will update everyone and solicite your assistance with unloading the truck.

Congrats to you and your family! clap.gif

For what it's worth, get a Hertz/Penske truck. We drove one from NJ to CA and had no problems with it, even over through the Rocky Mountains.
Britain Smith
Yea, I will price them all out. I will need two car trailers though.

Alright everyone, less than 30 days till I move. I have a Budget Truck and Trailer all lined up for my stuff and my 912. The 914 will hitch a ride up to OR with Steve Howitson and hang out at Camp 914 until I arrive.

So, who is in for a moving party on Sunday, Sept. 25th? It should go pretty quickly since most everything will be packed up into those plastic containers with the hinged tops. The majority of it will be furniture. I will post a new thread as it gets closer, but all the help we can get will be great.

BTW, for those guys around the Portland area that wanna help out on Tuesday, Sept. 27th let me know. I could use all the help I can get.

Here is an updated picture of our new house after the color change was completed inside and out.
