Great pics! Upset I didn’t go this time around. But Carlisle swap kept my FOMO low.

At Luft 9 it looked to me that the organizers have finally recognized the 914 as a real Porsche, while at the same time making the Boxsters and Caymans, along with 928’s, the new red headed stepchildren of the Porsche family. There was a lone 924 they let in, but I didn’t see any 944’s other. What the Fuchs going on?

One of these things is not like the others...

My LS car was really well received. A few "hey, that's not air-cooled..." comments and all but one in jest. Overwhelming (unprompted) feedback is "don't paint it".

@wonkipop - Yep, that's the LS car. Fun to see it surrounded by nothing but REALLY nicely presented cars. I can't tell you how many people asked "how'd you do the patina?" I'm like, "Ummm, what are you talking about? It's just a crap paint job..."

I just took a few pics including an F40 that was in the parking lot as we were leaving. My wife is shooting the event for Sports Car Digest, hopefully will have all the pictures up in a few days on sportscardigest.com.

Not a 914...but it still has a Mid Engine :-)
It's actually an F40 LM (Le Mans), I was corrected by my oldest son.
