For those of you going to Okteenerfest, I encourage you to participate in the "Tech Quiz."

This year we are doing something different, and it will not be the same. You have to bring your significant other or a partner to participate. The way it works is this:

You will be give a an answer sheet with 10 blank lines.

Your partner will be given an 914 part in a ziplock bag, and they will have to describe it to the group. There will be a list of words in with the part that the cannot use to describe it.

Example: The partner is handed a bag with a bumper mount in it, I.E. the dog bone. Words you can't use would be "Bumper" "Mount" "dog" "bone".

It can be described as "Something your canine companion likes to chew on."
It doesn't have to be a description that is car related. Just something the people sitting down and writing the answers can understand.

Alcohol is not only allowed, it is ENCOURAGED!

If you don't want to participate, then come for the entertainment. Watching people who are half drunk and know nothing about cars try to describe car parts is hilarious.

And the support keeps rolling in!

Hey Steve, I love my collection of Okteenerfest T shirts, and this appears to be a good addition, looks like the Delphi Green on my 73 teener "Dad's Mistress!" Your designs are the bomb!

Using a blend of yellow and lime green ink... won't really know what it will look like until printed. With the shading, could be Delphi or Ravenna

very nice, i like the over lapping E's to read Ok-TEN-erfest, is that for Tennessee or Ten years? also - since its50 years for the '73 model nice touch using a '73 on the shirt too.
BTW what color will the shirts be, red like the picture or any color we want?

Ya, just so you know, we don't have project (914 on legs/feet) has other modifications scheduled. We will be driving the Boxster (engine in the middle ) similar to the 914. Warren

Yes, the two smaller E's form a larger E to spell TEN for 10 years.
And good eye on noting the '73.
Now... look back on the previous years since 2019... each design represents '70, '71, '72.
Future years will carry on that design element up to 2026.
I like adding details like that into my designs and often wonder how many people actually see it.

Shirts will be red this year.

I've created an online photo gallery for Okteenerfest pictures. See it at: http://pics-okteenerfest.dolimpios.com.

You can post your own pictures in two ways:

  1.Open an album in the gallery and click the "Upload" button.

  2. Send an email with pictures attached to pics-okteenerfest@agaddo.net.
    By default the pictures will be posted to this year's album, but you can override this to post for past years by simple putting the year in the subject of the email.

You can also give each picture a caption when viewing a picture using the controls on the page. If you see your car, please put your name in the caption, or add a caption if you have any information about what was happening in the picture. See controls below:

Please post any pictures that you take, as well as any pictures you may have from past events. This could be a nice archive of Okteenerfest pictures if everyone shares what they have taken.

We are in Jackson, TN. We will be leaving about 8. We hope to be there around 3:30.

We must be really crazy people. We drive 2 days and almost 1k miles just so we can go for a drive......

We are in Memphis and hoping to get back on the road by 8:30 and be there by 3:30.
