Michelle and I stopped by Rich's, picked up a couple of parts. We would have swung by but it looks like it's about to dump some rain and I didn't want to put the top back on. biggrin.gif

Those flares really did turn out good. Love the color.

took her out for a quick test drive today. running a little rough, but that should be sorted out soon.

The interior is really turning out nice as well. That dark grey is very cool!

at first i thought they were hammered out on car -then i saw a pics of a panel taped to the car.

I got them in trade from Jamie who cut them off a junkyard 914. 3 were pretty nicely done The 4th one I think the person just wanted to be done.
They do look unique for sure.

basically, they were made by cutting the fender and tipping it out the desired amount and then add strips of metal.
