3 pics from the same 1999 NASCAR Pocono 500 race.
One of my childhood racing idols Richard Petty was posing with a monument(?) placed in the infield of Pocono Raceway in his honor.
Legend has it that this is the biggest chunk of coal in PA.
Click to view attachmentAt the same race, in July 1999 amid sweltering conditions, high 90's, high humidity, total sun, some guys who work locally at Hawk Water Hauling brought their rides to the race, full of nice cold water. They had the only mud puddle in the otherwise dry and dusty infield.

I guess the rig also triples as a ladies room. Check out the chick squatting under the trailer.
