100% Perfect! Got mine in along with the engine seal. Thanks Mike
????????? What's the best way to get the old knob off...the shim makes the fit super tight. To install the new knob do I just pressure it down? With a little lube or not? Thanks
nsr-jamie

New second gen knobs availabe -heaver resin, higher quality-

I do have the old style polished knobs, but they were very labor intensive, the quality control required quite a few rejects. These new ones are a satin finish that looks like the new ones at the dealership. At $285.

I do have the crush washers at $8 if you need them.

Currently I have 6 of these made up and if you want one let me know these will be at $65 after (still a good value, but hey save some $ if you're in the market).

I think you'll like these!
mharmon
I'd take a 915 knob if you have one.
charliew
I'll take a Gen II 915 knob with a sleeve also Mark

I would like one of the new knobs with crush washer. Do you have the leather shift boot as well?

Kelvin
Mikey914
I need to check back with my leather guy. We had talked about it, but had not finalized anything.

I'll check back with you tomorrow on the boot, he may have made up a few.

Mark, I'll take one of each; 901 and 915.

Thanks,

E.

I posted this in the classifieds cause I'm a noob and didn't read all of your post.

Can you make some with 1 where 2 is and make it a 4 speed for the v8 guys and others who don't have or use 1st gear to start but 2nd.

Just a thought...
Mikey914
I can, but the set up is about $175, If I could get 8 guys that need that exact layout (one set up) I'd do it.

So the real question is how many people need them?
Mikey914
Also, if I remember correctly, George had some goofy balls biggrin.gif .

I mean a few that were non-standard.
jimkelly
another nice product from mikey agree.gif

if i did not already have a mislabled knob in my v8 - i'd be all over this.

I would also like to thank Todd Enlund for his help on the graphics side to get these done. Todd, I've got you down for one.

Thanks again man!

Chris, how about these?

This is what the crush washer looks like. I can make them, but have been just buying them. I may look at these in the future. Not hard to make, just takes some more tooling.

The graphics were not expensive, it's how I produce the inlays that has a set up cost as well as a production cost. The material must also be UV stable. So to get materials that met my criteria I have to pay a little more. It would have been really easy to do when I set up these.

Hi Mike,

I'd like 2 901 and 1 915 plus the crush washers. Thanks,

I got one of Marks 911 balls and it is nice. It probably will go on a cable shifter on the 914 for a suby tranny.
Lightweight_911
I'll take the last one (+ a crush washer) if it's still available.

Email: lightweight _911@hotmail.com

with the total inc USPS shipping to the UK & your Paypal account info.

Will you be making any more ?

Mark,

This is what I need for my 4 speed 930 on my cable shifter. I think there are a few guys that need them.

I am in production and have more of these, you just got the last one at $48.

I wanted to launch these so I could get some feedback on them. They are $65 normally.
Mikey914
I'll try to get some of these made up (930), I'm not sure if I'll get to them before I go on vacation.

Anyone else need this patern???
