Everywhere I look (owner's manual, Haynes, etc.) I see different specs on what fuses to use where. Right now I have 8s everywhere except #8 and #12 where I have 25s. Whattaya think? Whattaya have in yours?

type47
From Lash -74 (Lash says "through 73")

fuses S1-S7, S9-S11 are 8 amp
S8 (circuit for windshield wipers) and S12 (circuit for headlight motors) are 25 amp

1974 and later

S1-S7, S9 and S11 are 8 amp
S8, S10 (additional headlights) and S12 are 16 amp

Also, every schematic I see has fuse #11 holding the two black/red wires from the interior light and warning switch. Mine are hooked up to fuse #12 (25 amp fuse), which might explain why one of them is mostly fried? Had it been on #11, and 8 amp fuse, the fuse would have gone rather than the wire? Make sense? Move those guys back to #11?

Move those guys back to #11?

Sir Andy's diagram shows them on 11, so yes, I would move them.
