We will be making a rear trunk lock repair kit that replaces the rubber base, the outter bezel and the lock button. It will allow you to use your lock (no re keying) to make the one you have look brand new.

I think that’s a good idea. Eventually it would be nice to be able to buy individual pieces as needed as well a complete restoration kit for the rear trunk lock. I think the two parts most in demand are the rear cam piece (preferably in steel as you’ve suggested) and the push button surround which seems to be the first to pit and rust.
