That’s the plan we have for our 911 engines. Build what we want and then sell it to whoever wants it. I know exactly where Jake is coming from and I applaud him. I'm going the same way, wife retires in one year and we plan to travel. I have about 2 years of work on the books and I'm also going to spec build a '72 /6 conversion, after that I'm going to get real picky about the jobs I take on. The engine above I happen to have everything and it's all cleaned and ready to go together, but even then it will still be 3-4 months as I have other work that needs to be done first. |
