(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Sadly, I spotted on an IG site called "onlyinglendale". Their latest reel has a late model red 914 with painted sails and 4 lug Fuchs burning down on Brand Blvd.
![]() ![]() Anyone on here know about the car or the owner? Car looked to be nicely painted and well maintained, appearance wise except for the 3' flames coming out of the engine bay and the interior. |

(Sorry, couldn't resist) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) Hate it for the car owner, looked like a pristine example? |

(Sorry, couldn't resist) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) Hate it for the car owner, looked like a pristine example? LOL....yea well ....I was born in raised in Pasadena CA. I can tell from the Verdugo "Hills" that that IS Glendale CA. I've been to both Glendale AZ and Pasadena TX and I won't say they don't count but very different from each other. RE: Fires. I agree with Kent on checking the hose clamps loosening and here's my theory about that: The rubber compound on the newer fuel lines is a harder durometer then the original lines and is harder to compress. The fuel clamps if you look closely have a fine thread as opposed to the worm drive type clamps. Given the quality of machined parts nowdays the threads have more tolerance and poorer quality than the originals. When I redid my fuel lines I used the original fuel clamps for this reason. Ugly looking but better. Just my thoughts. |
