Nope that is what used to be Parts Werks of Chicago, they are selling off the remaining inventory.

In Nebraska now. Getting lousy mileage with about a 1/4 ton of parts in the Pig. Not lousy, just not as good as it was on the way out. 16.9 right now. Handles the same though. 450 miles to Cheyenne.

OK... I screwed up (again).
I just got back from a great dinner with Mke and John and... No pictures! I figured that out on my way back to the hotel. Suffice to say these are two tremendously good looking men... you'll just have to use your imagination.
Same goes for Mkes car... Very clean 914 with some really cool wheels.
I blame it all on I-80. 13 hours and 45 minutes of flat out driving (thats how I drive... flat-out) and I was punch drunk. I forgot how to walk when i got to the hotel.
Chalk up another great night with two more new friends. Thanks guys! Great to meet you. Tomorrow the journey ends with the final leg back to Salt Lake City. The "Pig" is running great, getting about 16+ mpg.
Oh... I think I forgot! Thanks for the calipers Mike!

This is something I grew accustom to on the last two days... TRUCKS. It took me a while to realize I was on I-80 and that was the difference. The other highways I travelled on over the last week were not as "truck heavy". They were about the only vehicles on that highway in some areas and they were constantly jockeying for position. It seemed like they looked, saw me coming in their rear view mirror and then pulled over to cut me off. I do understand how difficult it is to drive one of these things professionally but, a lot of them could have let me pass before blocking the lane for the 10 minutes it takes for them to pass one another. It got VERY tiring, especially in some off the mountain passes.

Thanks Guys! Seems a bit "trite" to say but, meeting all of the people I'd been talking to for years made the trip really worth while. Thanks to all of you who strolled out and had a lunch or dinner with me to keep me company.
Man... it was good to crash and burn in my own bed. Ironically I did wake up in the middle of the night (ala: the hotel room routine) and I wondered where the hell I was!
