Might have been me (black WCR 2011 t-shirt), I was there looking around about 12:15 or so but never saw anyone I knew or any shirts or such.. I made a few laps thru the biergarten, the 16 cylinder 917, the 918 spyder, the new 911's and the 'baby 935. Eventually I got a beer and move on to other stuff.

I had a great weekend.

Jim, I really do feel bad. As soon as I saw your shirt, I went your direction, but there where just so many people. My fault, I should have said, 'Let's meet at the 914's'.

I really do feel awful about the whole thing.

Hey don't sweat it, there were a lot of people there.

I had a great time, although my feet still hurt.

Eric, I though Rennsport was every 3rd year?

Phenomenal weekend! I'm pretty beat from hiking around with my camera gear, but it was well worth it. Sorry I couldn't find or connect with more of you guys. Overall I ran into fewer people I know than I expected, but it's a huge facility and the crowd was sizable.

I will be putting my best shots on Flickr as I review/process them. I took a little video as well, largely to capture the sound.

I thought I took a picture of the write up they had on display but I guess not.
So everything I say is subject to memory failure, This is the only 16 cylinder engine left and they only built 1 car. The 12 cylinder engines were not going to be powerful enough for Can Am against the 8.0l V8s so they were exploring ways to get more power. Turbocharging the 12 cylinder engines won out over the 16 cylinder.

I wonder where you get this injection pump rebuilt?
