Nice...I would like 1 please.
Have no idea what condition mine is in yet, but even if I find out it's OK in a month or three, it won't be forever.
Click on the link in my signature to place an order.
The diaphragm stampings should be here in less than 2 weeks, so I think the repair kits will be ready to ship before this month's end.
The Tuning Kits would be ready by now but my machinist seems to have flaked out. (see other thread)
Diaphragm Kit Price goes up $12 once they're in stock.

We're getting real close!
I had diaphragm samples in hand yesterday, swaged a hub onto one, and did a trial assembly of an MPS with it.
The rest were sent back for heat treat today, along with a couple minor "adjustments" for the production run.
The full load stop screws are being shipped. (At least I think they are. I've been having trouble with this vendor)

Very nice!
This is a historic reproduction of an NLA part.
Five years from now it will be a thing of legend and hard to find again.
Better get one now for each of your cars that need one.

Thx again for doing this for me
. Just kidding. This will be my present this year. ps Will you let us know when you ship so that I can threaten my alcoholic mailman ahead of time. Otherwise, it could end up in in some other persons mailbox; again. Better yet, I'll pay the difference if you would ship it insured. I'm not shitting you, this guy belongs in a Chevy Chase movie.

Just got an email shipping notice from USPS that Racer Chris has sent me a Christmas present. There is a problem though, my '70 1.7 is currently in pieces scattered all over the garage and into the basement. Maybe by spring thaw I'll get to the MPS.
Thanks Chris.

Hoo! I received the shipping notice also. Sure my car doesn't have doors on it, but I have the O2 sensor and gauge all hooked up. At long last I'll be able to repair one of my lousy MPS units.
My holiday plans are now set.

Thanks Chris, you are a true gentleman, and not so bad a mechanic
Now, all I gotta do is wait to see if Santa can fit a slightly used 2.0 down the chimney for free, or figure where this mounts on my Subie 2.5

Hang onto the kit Dave, its destined to become a valuable NOS item someday.

or, like most of us, you'll buy another 914 sooner rather than later, and the mps will need to be serviced.

Chris,
I received my kit on Monday just in time for my Christmas Stocking gift. Everything looked good and thanks for your committment to this MPS issue.
BTW: Just asking??/ Is there anyone (Bowsley, Bleyseng, Chris) out there who will calibrate and rebuild our MPS's with your kit & my spare MPS??? I would be willing to spend $$ to have someone rebuild my MPS & calibrate with the build specs on my motor for a fee-$$$.
Anyone out there???

Adjusting one to stock specs is not to hard with a quality inductance meter. If the motor is a custom build though you will most likley need to tune it and possibly other things on the motor itself, i doubt anyone has enough data to set one just from build specs.

I heard from Jeff Bowlsby yesterday. His order went out with the first batch.
He already installed one, set it up, and ran it in his car briefly.
According to his preliminary tests its right on the money!

Hey Chris. I got mine the other day. Very nice product! Thank you for making these. I bought this as a back up for the new MPS I bought a few years back. It may be a while until I use this part. If that is the case I am going to want to use new o-rings. Can you please give use the specs for those o-rings to make it easier to replace? Thank you.
