Looks like I need to walk up the street a little farther and warm more of the neighbors. I should be quite interesting with all the 914's on this block. I have another neighbor with one who may come by also. It will be something to see.

Just to add to the hoopla - I just mailed Scott a new product - to be shown there. He has been kind enough to be a guinea pig for me.

It should get lots of exposure here on Saturday. Along with all the other parts I got from you. Most of them have been installed but I still have the rear trunk release, pedals, and something else yet to do. With any luck, Dr. Evil, or Mr. Evil since he aint done with med school yet, will bring my seats and backpad back with him and everyone will see that too.

Well, my neighbor Joel with the Buick V6 914 just stopped by and said he will be here too. He said he may just leave his car at home and walk over since there will be so many cars. I will go by and see if Bill is going to come over as well tomorrow. He lives around the corner and has the blue 74.

On the 27th it was only at 29 people, now its up to 44 on the 30th, quite a jump. I am thinking the beer drinking will need to be done in the back of the house for the most part since this large of a crowd will surely draw attention from the local patrol. I can handle it if they come up since there are a few P car owners on the local PD. I just dont want to deal with drinking in public complaints. So the final count is 44? Joe needs to know since he is going tomorrow to pick up all the meat and fixins. Remember though, we are all gathering to get Allens car running. With any luck, we can have it running and ready to drive by 2 and then go cruise PCH through Newport and draw lots of attention.

I am thinking Aaron is all proud of himself for pulling this all together. At least he volunteered to come help get everything ready the day before. Everyone give him a pat on the back. I will be looking for him on Friday to help get things all organized here.

Maybe I'll go down on friday too. I have a doctors appointment in the morning, but I can head down later in the afternoon. That is, of course, if you want my help

Murietta is out a ways more like Temecula and that. Are you driving? Here is a picture so you can see where Murietta is compared to Costa Mesa. Aaron is coming Corona, Bernie is coming from Temecula and Slits is coming from Big Bear. Mike (Dr. Evil) is coming from San Diego, Howard is coming from West Lake Village and Z is coming from Santa Barbara. There are a lot of people coming that are not even on this map like the ones mentioned above. Allen is off the map too, he is coming from Bakersfield.

Call the CHP and get them to close a 1 mile portion of the 405. We'll set up cones and have an AX......We'll call this "The SoCal FunFest-Engine Start-NonAdmin-Flesh Roasting Festival". Mike Z will bring free forehead stickers in the shape of Frankesteen.

So what is it that we need to bring? Beer and $$ for flesh roasting? Can I bum those flywheel shims off you Scott? Me and the boy will be there around 10:30 or 11:00.

All of the above will be rubbed liberally with my Super Sekrit Irish VooDoo BBQ Rub

I will also have a slection of Smokin' Joe Jones BBQ sauce. For those that attended the last BBQ i only had the "Smokin" sauce available. For this BBQ i'm gonna have the Original, Smokin' and Blazin' sauce. No cheap ass sugary panty waste sauces you get at most grocery stores are allowed near my BBQ. Eat it with one of the approved sauces or eat it plain!

If i have time i'll make some of my Chipolte BBQ Sauce too!
