I asked the same question on page 8 Lisa.
Gwen said the end of September.

Is there a deadline for submissions?

How's about the end of September?

Mrs. K
smilie_pokal.gif Thanks John!!! You're the best...got so much going on right now that I don't have time to read through all of the thread!

Was playing with a collage / mosaic program and came up with this. Printed it looks killer.
The pic is borrowed from "Yarin" or someone taking a pic of the car.t. Obviously, reduced for forum, original, more than large enough for print. 3528 x 2040 x 16m 8.0 mb original.
Brent
Heres the original.

That mosiac picture is cool!
Dr. Roger
Send pics to me.

The higher resolution, the better.

I will size, color/contrast adjust, crop if necessary, and forward to Gwen.

I'm at ....... roger (at) grubb (dot) net . My mailbox can take up to <15 MB file attachment.

Please use this email address for 914 business, dirty jokes, and nipple shots only. =-) Thank you.
Dr. Roger
Dan Calicott, AKA "xitspd" sent me 3 great pics for adjusting and they are now forwarded to Gwen as of tonight.

That is awesome! Are all the pictures copyright free? That'd make a cool poster.

Copyright FREE? All are from ebay and here. Don't know if someone would see their pic or car and get all legal and stuff. Just took a closer look, the Motor trend future 914 is in their and a couple 914 original ad scans.

The mosaic program just pulls pics from a selected folder, matches color and contract and contructs. Its pretty damn fun!

I'd suggest we only submit our own images or with the owners written approval. I highly doubt Mark Stehrenberger would approve use of his drawing without his permission. eBay also has strict image "copyright" rules.

Warning:
The originator of that Mosaic does not want that pic to be duplicated.

I repeat:
The originator of that Mosaic does not want that pic to be duplicated.

Please return to your regularly scheduled 914club perusing.

Ciao'.

I'm the originator of the mosaic, and I wouldn't mind its use. Now the originator of the original pic could object, or anyone who has a pic they can identify in the mosaic.

As for the pics from ebay, if they sold their cars there, odds are they would never lay eyes on the 914 calendar. Then again, how could one argue a very small portion of the mosaic was theirs?

Again, only true issue is the Motor Trend pic and Porsche ads.

I can try and re generate if people are interested.

i liek the mosiac.

More jackstands...i have high res versions available when I get home...

Great! Send it to gagolub@yahoo.com

Hi Brent,

You know your mosaic's remind me of LeRoy Nieman's paintings.

Very nice work. aktion035.gif
Brent
Thanks Roger. I love his works as well.

On the mosaic front, John was talking about the "collage" he had put together and submitted, not about my mosaic. Now I don't want the A/X mosaic to be submitted but will submit a couple others that I have used only non-copyright photos.

Anyone out there have a A/X photo (they own or took) I can try and run for a mosaic?

In any case, get your pic ready...

I'll see if Steve can help put this together.

Well, yea, but that was a little different. I used Hypersnap to take screen shots...

Maybe I can get a good clean shot of my car this weekend that I can upload. biggrin.gif
