My 1971 six still retains its original compliance sticker. Unfortunatly my 1973 911 compliance sticker is long gone. I purchased a very nice replica from an individual on the early 911S registry but one needs to punch there own chassis number onto this one.Would you be making yours available for 911's also with the pre punched numerals?
Thanks

Definitely interested. The door sticker on my '74 1.8 was also removed during soda-blasting, but I have a couple pictures of the original, and it's silver. The replacement I ordered for '74 from AA is black, but the wording and layout is correct. Anybody have a clue what the difference might be?
Imagine this, but silver:

Your sticker was scraped off. Soda won't remove a sticker, it is used primarily because it won't remove anything but paint.

I was able to punch the VIN on a reproduction sticker with good results. used a hypodermic needle of the right diameter, and ground it flat, then beveled the edges to make a cutter, then I drilled a guide block that had all the dot matrix holes, and did one dot at a time to make the correct numbers. almost went crazy punching the numbers. One false punch and you have to start over, not so bad on the first number, by by the last digit, I was sweating it.
the end result was just like factory numbers.

Not that I need one (cuz I make my own), but I would need to see one of theirs before I shelled out $125.
The one example they showed on their Website, the Punches were incorrect

I'm finishing the form after some edits to satisfy guy that will be doing the cutting of the decals. I hope to have an approved version this weekend. I will only handle the orders and return shipping.
Some of the required details are,
self posted envelope with the decal/decals you want cut
copy of registration
short form to fill and sign stating decal is for compliance and not a VIN proof.

OK,
Just got off the phone with him and hashed it out. below is what the form will have on it. These will not have tamper proof circles. The required info provides him with the comfort that whats being created is correct and honest. I will buy spare decals for any errors and to avoid taxes by re-selling the decals the decision not to supply the decals was made.

The 7 on the Date (Year) is incorrect. Every Original Compliance Sticker I have seen has the same glitch in that there is a Punch that doesn't line up
Example

I think that '7' glitch is a 914-6 thing maybe? Maybe a Porsche thing vs. a VW one? Both my 4 cylinder cars are like this one:

No "7 error" here in Aug. 72 - also note that this is the black decal color without the semi-circle cuts, and it's original since it shows the L80E under the oversprayed sahara beige & gold repaints done by the dealer &/or OO from whom I bought the car in 12/75.
So Andy - now I'm confused - are we buying the blank decals from you, supplying the necessary from/info-docs & you send it off to be punched ??
.... or are we finding blank decals at AA or somewhere else to send to you?
Maybe a post on how & where the raw material decal is coming from at the $75 price would be helpful - along the lines of your good explanation of the form & supporting documentation in your post above.
