My brother and I went to Rennsport yesterday, Friday. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold- just right! It was crowded, but manageable. The vendors were out in full force.

We got easy parking (took the truck) and were only 1/4 mile, if that, from the entrance. So many beautiful cars. I really struggle to take pictures when there are so many nice cars as I am just looking at them.

My only criticism was the announcers seemingly never stopped talking over the event-wide sound system. Even during racing they were lacking non-stop - I just wanted to enjoy the engine sounds as the cars raced. I guess that is just an old-age thing on my part.

Dave, was that Pam’s 968 in the corral? I saw that car…WOW!

Jeff, thanks, yes that is Pam's 968. Luckily, the front engine / rear transaxle corral was right next to the lunch trucks, so even though it was still in the dirt, it was a much better corral than in years past.
