This is from 1972 at IRP I believe. It was my first 914-6 and second 914. I had a street 914-4 first.
The car was one of the factory cars driven by Bob Hindson when new.I bought it after the runoffs in 1971.
Freddie Baker had the ex Midvo factory car and the two of us banged heads from drivers schools to SCCA regionals & nationals for a couple of years

TBT - September 2004

I had just lapped that Z car at the end of the front straight, after he blocked me at the uphill turn on the previous lap.
It felt so good to pass him under braking despite my car being considerably slower in a straight line.

Anyone recognize this car? Just got it as a bare shell. Curious if it has any interesting history.
