Actually lost money on the deal. There goes that big vacation to the bahamas!

Most of them arrived yesterday but, they BO'd almost all of the AP30's (rear pads) and the AP31T's (fronts for later model 914's). We literally drained their shelf stock with this buy.

Throughout the week I'll be shipping the complete orders that I can, the rest will ship when I can complete them. I believe they said 7-10 days. I'll have another conversation with them on Monday to follow up on the 30's and the 31T's. What I can ship will be on a first in first out basis.

Will we receive a notification when they ship?

Seriously, I doubt it. If your address is in my system I'll throw it in the USPS program and it will notify you. Otherwise, I'll be up to my @$$hole in pads and boxes. Plan on 2-weeks and if it comes sooner you'll be oh-so happy.

I vote that we don't expect any special individual notification other than an "all pads have shipped" here in this thread.
Eric shouldn't be spending time writing us all individually for something he did as a favor and it goes beyond what his normal business practice is anyway...

Everything that can ship has/will ship Monday.

The packing box shipment didn't arrive on time so I had to break down the Porterfield boxes and ship them in the thinner Flat Rate boxes.

We're still waiting on the second 1/2 of the shipment which includes the bulk of the AP30 (914 rears) and the AP31T (late 914 fronts). There's a few odds and ends as well but, everything should be in by the end of this week. Hoping.

Thanks for your concern. I'll eat this, over the long run it will be fine. All issues I should have caught:

PayPal Fees
Shipping Increase ($9.30 to $9.85)
Different Discount Structure on R4 vs. R4-S (odd)

I was cutting the margins tight because I wanted to give everyone a great introductory offer for these pads. You're going to love them.

Enjoy you pads and please use (and abuse) your brakes often.

You can recoup some of that by doing a bit of regional shipping. Anyone who lives in Sacramento can be shipped to me and be picked up at the Sacramento Porsche Family Reunion event or by other arrangement. Dupree for instance doesn't have a running car. He was going to get in on this, if he did he lives just a few blocks away.

Dude - I hope you are not swallowing on behalf those like me that were "interested and motivated" but then balanced the checkbook and couldn't find cash for extra parts to sit on the shelf. I will gladly place an order if it makes a difference, but i think the issue seems to be shooting for a 5% margin and then the unpredicted and unknown nickels and dimes erased that 5%.
Like Dave D says - we're ready to step up to make this a break-even or better experience. Thanks for all your hard work

Yea I got in on this (2 sets) and already told Eric I could pick mine up from you. And since I don't have a running car (yet) I am in no hurry and can wait until BO are in, if any on mine are BO'd.
